The Center of Biostatistics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center provides the latest in biostatistical and information science expertise to a wide range of clients at UMMC and beyond. We collaborate with biomedical researchers at UMMC and other academic health centers, pharmaceutical companies, medical research organizations, managed care providers, non-profit organizations and government agencies. We provide a wide range of services, education and guidance.
Our team is comprised of Masters and PhD level biostatisticians and data analysts at UMMC and affiliated institutions nearby. There are often opportunities for those with quantitative interests to be involved in the Center, with training in consulting processes, biostatistical methods, statistical programming, and substantive areas.
